Challenge: ROYGBIV. I wanted to do something with tie dye, and I shot a couple in focus on one of the boy's t-shirts, but I really didn't like it. Using the macro lens I borrowed from work, I could see the finest detail of every thread and that just wasn't what I wanted to see. Quinn and I both preferred this one, an intentionally out-of-focus shot of the same shirt. I don't know what it is about this image for me... I just like it.

Equipment: Canon EOS 60D, EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
Settings: Manual exposure,1/20, f/4.5, ISO 100, tripod mounted
