Challenge: Escape from the ordinary. As usual for a week day, I was low on time and inspiration today so I did something easy and not terribly interesting. This is a macro of a king conch shell I brought back from Turks and Caicos.

Equipment: Canon EOS 60D, EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS fitted with a 12 mm extension tube
Settings: Manual exposure, 1/8, f/5.6, ISO 100, tripod mounted
