I submit my first photo on my 365 day journey. The chaos of taking down the Christmas decorations has always been my New Year's Day tradition. There is so much history in these ornaments. Every single one has meaning. On my tree, most are from places I've traveled. In this shot alone, I can make out ornaments from Austria, St. Eustatius, St. Lucia, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Washington DC, Chicago, Colorado, Wisconsin... Some were my mother's. A priceless collection of memories.
